Cherry founded the CLCA Group in 2012 while working as a nurse in the National Health Service. It began with CLCA Nursing, her response to the need for high-quality, personalised home care services, especially for young disabled individuals. Recognising the demand throughout the West Midlands region of England, Cherry expanded CLCA Nursing over the years, and it now employs over 150 people, offering live-in carers, homecare, and nurses to the National Health Service.

After the success of CLCA Nursing, Cherry took her expertise to the international market by creating CLCA Aeromed in 2019. This company provides bespoke remote medical case management and repatriation services for the international travel insurance market. Despite facing challenges during the COVID-19 pandemic due to travel restrictions, Cherry adapted by diversifying into the shipping sector. Thus, CLCA Maritime was born, aiming to support seafarers’ welfare by offering a medical database and remote medical case management.

Today, the CLCA Group comprises three market-leading companies, generating an annual turnover of over £5 million and serving more than 300 countries worldwide. Despite their growth, they remain committed to their original ethos of providing personalised, caring, and attentive medical services, just as they did a decade ago.
